Ara-Shock ICW-AE-ARA-SHOCK-ICW

The Ara-Shock ICW is a 100% Aramid, semi-rigid armor plate, with a rubberized cover. This new plate is 35% lighter and 20% thinner than our original Ara-Shock. The ICW upgrades a Level IIA or Level II vest to Level IIIA protection. When used in conjunction with any NIJ certified vest the Ara-Shock ICW significantly enhances trauma protection. The result of extensive collaboration with our industry partners, Armor Express developed the Ara-Shock ICW to provide a lighter, thinner, and lower cost plate option. While adding a level IIIA armor plate to level IIIA soft armor will definitely increase protection, it does not equal level III or level IV rifle protection. The Ara-Shock ICW was designed to give users a performance bump from the lowest NIJ threat level, IIA, to the highest NIJ threat level for handguns, level IIIA.
