The molded slots allow for a higher ride position of holsters along duty belts. The raised height offers numerous tactical advantages, including improved concealment of handguns beneath a shirt or jacket and greater wearer comfort when worn in a seated position–ideal for officers spending long periods of time inside a vehicle. The twin belt slots provide plenty of stability and securely fastens to a 2-inch or 2.25-inch duty belt.
