This steel thread protector is a factory OEM accessory. This 9mm thread protector features a black finish and is threaded 1/2×28 TPI. This component features a textured exterior surface for better grip while installing or removing from the barrel. Also referred to as a barrel cap, this component is designed to protect the threads on the barrel when a suppressor is not attached.
