The Diamond Edge Grip Max Knife and Scissors Sharpener is a two stage sharpener and also will sharpen right/left hand scissors with ceramic rods. It will sharpen both straight and serrated knives. Diamond blades in the coarse slot quickly sharpen dull and damaged knives. The ceramic triangular shaped stones in the fine slot are for light honing of straight and serrated blades.
